Delete your Upwellsurf account
Use this page to request deletion of your Upwellsurf account and the personal data tied to it from the Android app, iOS app, and upwellsurf.com.
How to request deletion
Email support@upwellsurf.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete your account and associated data.
What we delete
- Your account profile and login details
- Live reports, photos, and videos you posted that are linked to your account
- Chat group membership and messages tied to your account email, where stored by us
- Other personal information we hold about your account
What may be kept
- Records we must keep for legal, security, fraud, or accounting reasons
- Anonymous analytics that cannot identify you
- Content that was shared publicly and is no longer linked to your identity, when removal is not reasonably possible
Timing
After we verify your request, we delete or anonymize your account data within 30 days. Some backups may take longer to clear, usually within 90 days.
